March Update – Agile, UX, UCD and IA Training Courses in London, Brussels and Texas
In February we ran a free webinar giving an overview of the four UxFest courses. If you weren't able to attend, you can view or download a recording. We spent about 12 minutes on each day, so you skip to the session that interests you if you don't want to watch the whole thing. For online viewing (from Windows), the URL is https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/243691918 (50 minutes). For other platforms, please download the recording from our web site at http://www.syntagm.co.uk/design/uxfest-webinar-spring-2012.shtml (the file is type wmv and is 77 MB).
UxFest itself is a little under two weeks away. There are still a few places left and generous 3-for-2 discounts across all the courses.
Out 2012 UxFest in London will run from 13 to 16 March (Tuesday to Friday). It consists of four one-day courses by me and O'Reilly author James Kalbach. You can book a single place on one day, plus there are special discounts for every three places booked (3 x 1 day, 1 x 3 days and other permutations) or for booking all four days. Places can be shared between team members, so you can book a place on all four days and decide who is coming later – just let us know!
The full line-up is:
13 Mar: Agile User Experience & UCD (how to fit user experience into Agile working; WH)
14 Mar: Agile Requirements & UCD (use cases, user stories, scenarios & personas in Agile; WH)
15 Mar: Alignment Diagrams (a holistic view of customer interaction and service design; JK)
16 Mar: Faceted Navigation (an example-rich study of facets and their use in navigation design; JK)
We’re also running three days of courses In Brussels, from 23 to 25 April (Monday to Wednesday):
23 Apr: Agile User Experience & UCD (how to fit user experience into Agile working)
24 Apr: Agile Requirements (use Cases, user stories, scenarios & personas in Agile)
25 Apr: Dynamic User Experience: Ajax Design & Usability (now includes touch-screen devices)
Our 3-for-2 discount also applies, so you can attend all three days but pay for only two.
