Reminder – Agile UCD Article; Usability Evaluation Webinar on Thursday
Just a brief reminder about my Agile UCD article in the Agile Record: User Requirements in the 21st Century. I'll also be giving a talk along similar lines at UCD 2012 in London on Saturday 10 November.
Usability Evaluation Webinar
Please note that we've updated the topics for this session to include more detail of what will be covered.
One of the major shortcomings of functional testing is that we only establish that a system does what we said it was going to. For interactive systems, web sites and intranets what we really need to know is whether they meet the needs of users and what kind of user experience it provides.
In this session you will learn about a variety of usability evaluation methods including testing with users. The focus will be on low-cost/high-return (guerrilla!) approaches but we will also take short excursions into more advanced topics and tools.
Join the live webinar next Thursday (16 August) or download the recording if you can't make it. It covers:
· Design (cognitive) walkthroughs
· Paper prototyping
· Expert / heuristic evaluation
· Usability testing & eye tracking
· A/B & multivariate testing

The cost of this session is €66 / £55 / $88 with a 5-for-the-price-of-4 discount available. See www.guerrillaucd.com for full details.
Number 7 in the series, User-Centred IA with Card Sorting is scheduled for 30 Aug. See bit.ly/gucd-7.
