LDAP Authentication

Hello,

i'm trying to configure my portal for authenticate with a ldap directory.
It allways returns me a "Login failure". The configuration is correctly,
i have other applications working correctly with this ldap directory.

I have seen that when i run my instance, shows this:

007-09-07 12:02:43 INFO LDAPDirectory Disabled (no LDAP user folder
product found).
2007-09-07 12:02:43 INFO LDAPDirectoryVocabulary Disabled (no LDAP user
folder product found).

What is this? do i need any other product?

Regards.

LDAPDirectory and LDAPDirectoryVocabulary are old modules used
with previous versions of CPS.

The messages you are quoting are saying that those modules are disabled
which is correct for a configuration using CPSLDAPSetup,
which is your case.

To make CPS authenticate against an LDAP directory you only
need CPSDirectory + CPSLDAPSetup and a working python ldap module.

Using a chain of directories as CPSLDAPSetup installs is quite tricky.
It's powerful but complex.

Cheers,
