lsdev.org revamped

Hey all,

You may or may not have seen it already - we have redesigned, rewritten
and updated the Litestep Development site: lsdev.org. Many thanks and
all credit go out to jugg, who has put tremendous effort into this one.

The forums have been replaced by the LSDev Mailing List and its
gmane.org interface, but apart from that all content from the old site
has been migrated - and new content has been added. For example, we now
have a 'Community' section with an overview over our community
resources: Mailing Lists, IRC Channels, Websites. Then there's the
'Development' section, including the infrastructure the devteam uses:
our bugtracker which is finally put to good use, the cvs repository, and
more. Over time we'll also try to amass development guides and hints for
both core and module development. Some of it is already in place, some
of it is very much a work in progress.

If you want to take part in that work in progress, join the LSDev
Mailing list or come visit us in #litestep and #lsdev on irc.freenode.net.

Happy Litestepping,

The Litestep Development Team
http://www.lsdev.org/

PS. As another example for work in progress, we're working on merging
the wiki and bugtracker authentication. Once that is done other
developers can use it. Until then you'll need to contact us to sign up,
unfortunately.

Re: lsdev.org revamped

/me stops lurking for a moment to give profs to the sick coders in all
aspects of the LS community (core, module, site, scripts, et al.).

Re: Litestep on Vista

This has been talked about on this list before, but I can't remember
all of it. If you search the archives I'm sure you can get all the
details. But I do know that there are some problems. Something about
the tray icons and maybe something about the desktop background... The
ls devteam is currently working on fixing the systray issue. Some bugs
have been committed to http://bugs.lsdev.org/
