mole skin

A few weeks ago there was a nice discussion on mole skin that I forgot to save for reference. Does someone remember the type/brand of mole skin that was thin and seemed to stay on good. As I remember there was a particular brand.

Normally I just use duct tape. It was always worked well for me but last time my one foot had some kind of weird allergic reaction to the duct tape and turned all red and bumpy and even developed some kind of odd blisters of a different kind. I would have thought it was a different cause but  where my skin turned red and really really odd looking was the exact outline of the tape. Odd that it was only on one foot t hough. I'm a bit nervous about trying it again which is why I'm asking about the mole skin that was mentioned.

Thanks,
Jim

Re: mole skin

I use leukotape and it is available at almost any pharmacy. Just ask them to order it if they don't carry it.  Awesome stuff.

Re: mole skin

I will add that a little duct tape over the leukotape make for a nice
slick surface to help with a hotspot etc come times. It might help not
get a reaction from the duct tape with the leuko next to skin also. As
far as moleskin get the thin and not the mole foam type.

RE: mole skin

It truly is. If nothing else, Amazon carries it.

Re: mole skin posts

Jim, I just wanted to point out that all our old posts are open to members in our archives; there is even a search option, usually in the upper right quadrant of your screen. Your query may already have been answered by others, but I did want to point out the archive option to everyone. Our archives go all the way back to the very first posts ever listed on this group, and can even make for interesting reading and research on a slow afternoon.

Cheers, Don L. Moderator
