Notes from the Margins
Nots from the Margins, Hindustan Times, Mumbai, June 10, 2012

TISS has ‘adopted’ M-ward, the city’s most backward, home to a dumping
ground and several slums. A set of six short films is part of the plan
to improve conditions here

‘So many of Mumbai’s slumdwellers have been displaced and dumped in
M-ward. Most people here don’t have basic facilities such as water,
toilets and housing. TISS is a big institute and if it takes up our
causes, our lives could improve.”
