Ebooks

News:

We've agreed in principle to a deal to put the Riftwar, Empire, Prince of the Blood, King's Buccaneer, and
Faerie Tale into ebook format with HarperCollins.

No details yet, so don't ask me when they're going to be available, OK? I will certainly post that info when I know.

Re: Ebooks

Cool, soon I can have the entire feist library digitally. Though I think I will stick with Kindle. I don't like that the ONLY place where I can read an ibook is on my iPad - and now that Kindle has caught up with all of the additional niceties - it has the advantage of being available across ALL devices. Which unfortunately means I have to REBUY serpentwars in Kindle format. How you enjoy the extra drink it will pay for.

Ray does this mean it may be a non US deal. I ask, as the paperbacks and
hardcover's for those in the US were not Harper Collins, or has it been
proven the rights were never vended , or has Harper Collins bought
another massive publishing house :)

Books to read, and shelves to fill,
Ray's great books, just fit the bill.

This is a world English language rights deal. It may be there will be only one version, say US English,
available in both markets, but that was what happened originally with Magician in print, when Granada
simply bought copies of plates for the UK edition--one British reviewer complained about the "American
spelling." Or they may localize from existing texts they already have.

I will let you know details when I have them.

Yeah, I meant to follow up on that. I see them on the UK site, but not
the US site. Sigh.
