Larry I actually exchanged a few mails with Bob years ago, maybe in 2000, to discuss the forward 'kick-up' mounting. I don't know if Bob recalls that, maybe he can find out the emails. I liked the Spinfin very much then, but it was difficult to get one in Europe. So we developed our own unit, possibly heavier, and it works well now. I don't think he is manufacturing it anymore, but maybe someone is. That would be a great unit for the Open Waterbike on your side of the ocean: the OW dream is that we can agree on a standard mounting for both (and maybe many more) units.
