There is a guy by the name of Dr. Paul Donohue who writes a syndicated health advice column. Below is an excerpt from today's column: "Dear Dr. Donohue: In reply to the reader who got knee and back pain after a week of biking, I wonder why you did not tell him to get a recumbent bicycle. The rider sits in a full-size seat in a reclined position with less strain on back and buttocks. Consider readers informed. It's a good idea. I have seen only stationary recumbent bikes. Are there ones for the outdoors? Write Dr. Donohue at P.O. Box 536475, Orlando, Fla. 32853-6475." Is it possible that there are no recumbent bikes in Orlando, FL? Well maybe. I didn't see many before I moved here to Eugene where they are quite common.Regards, Dave Franzen Eugene, Oregon -- This message comes to you via the hpv <at> bikelist.org mailing list, sponsored by http://ihpva.org/ Visit http://bikelist.org/mailman/listinfo/hpv to manage your subscription.
