Long delay in messages sent

Hi all,
(sorry I couldn't elaborate a more proper subject, feel free to rephrase it).
I've subscribed gmane.network.rdesktop.gnome-rdp.devel to
gnome-rdp-devel <at> lists.sourceforge.net .
The problem is: messages sent to the group take *very* *long* to appear, while
messages sent to the proper ML address immediately appear into the group.

This doesn't happen with other groups on gmane (AFAICT)

Is there a reason for this?

Sourceforge has been having major mail server problems for weeks now.
They're extremely flaky, and it's pretty arbitrary how fast mail passes
through their systems.
