gmane.comp.emulators.ovirt.user

Hello!  From http://dir.gmane.org/search.php?match=ovirt I find
gmane.comp.emulators.ovirt.user but it's empty, which surprises me
because there seems to be plenty of traffic at
http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/

Can someone please look into this?

Thanks!

Hm, according to the graph it is active on Gmane:

 * http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.ovirt.user

The "using frames and threads" link curiously displays "Nobody here but
us chickens." and the "using a blog-like, flat interface" is empty.

The RSS feeds have new messages (07/06/12 16:30), for instance:

 * http://rss.gmane.org/messages/excerpts/gmane.comp.emulators.ovirt.user

Using NNTP the latest email is from:

 Date: Thu, 7 Jun 2012 11:30:54 -0500 (CDT) (23 minutes, 27 seconds ago)

so quite recent.

I think it is "only" the web-interfaces that are broken.

Lars?

  Best regards,

    Adam

Yes. It was due to old file permission problems on a backup disk. I'm
now running a script to fix them all, which should, er, fix it.

I mean, new messages should start appearing, but the messages that the
web interface missed out on will not be back-filled.

Everything is fixed now!  Thanks!

The other thing that was broken was being able to find the group from
the NNTP interface. For me this means doing a search for "ovirt" after
clicking "Manage newsgroup settings" in Thunderbird. The list of
matches is much longer now and reflects what I see at
http://dir.gmane.org/search.php?match=ovirt

The great part is, even though there are only a few messages at
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.ovirt.user (as was
predicted), the entire archive is available via NNTP.

Thanks again!
