LyX User Guide Version 1.5.5 suggested corrections

Hi! The following are some suggested corrections to the 
user guide.

2.1 Basic file operations - final sentence - change to:

With Version Control you can register the changes you have 
made to a document so that others can identify them as your 
changes.

2.2 Basic Editing Features - next to last paragraph - last 
two sentences should be merged:

. . . find complete words, i.e., searching for “star” . . .

2.3. Undo and Redo - start of second paragraph

change 'Notice' to 'Note'

2.4 Mouse operations - first paragraph

change 'This' to 'These'

Enumerate 3. Insets (Footnotes, Notes, Floats, etc.)

Right-click on them to set their properties.

2.5 Basic Key Bindings - delete the final paragraph 'You'll 
learn more ... means Shift-Control-s.' as it no longer
