Suggestions for the Embedded Objects manual

Dear Uwe,

Attached are 72 suggested changes for the Embedded Objects manual. I only have one additional question below.

The table "Units available in LyX" in Appendix A appears to be the same table as in Appendix D of the User Guide. Why not implement this table as an external file in both guides so that if the table ever changes, it is automatically updated in both guides? I'm guessing the reason for not doing this is that the table is unlikely to change. I wonder if there is other overlapping material across manuals that is likely to change.

Thank you!

Many, many thanks!

95% of them are in and you also found some bugs that I now corrected in the other language versions.

If you are now still enthusiastic, I would be happy if you could also revise the Math manual. This
is my oldest manual and therefore might have the most typos or inadequate expressions.

Good idea, this is of course possible. But for now I won't add an additional file in our stable LyX
series. I will do this for the next major release LyX 2.1.0.

best regards
Uwe

I forgot to say that you must use LyX's stable series (LyX 2.0.x) for revisions. For your
EmbeddedObjects revision you used an unstable development version of the upcoming LyX 2.1.x. The
documentation files of the stable and the development series are not the same and menus that might
appear incorrect in the manuals that come with the development version are in reality correct in LyX
2.0.x

regards Uwe

OK, thanks for letting me know. I will keep that in mind in the future.

Sure, I'll gladly take a look at it. I think it will take some time for me to go through it carefully. I'll get
back to you in a couple of months.

Thanks and regards,

Scott

There is no timeline. You can do this whenever you want. The amount of text it much less then in the
EmbeddedObjects manual so I guess it will take you less time for the revision.
