ruby beautifier (not js)

Can I integrate the ruby script beautifier:

into nano for a sort of poor-mans emacs?  I like nano, but want to run 
the beautifier easily against *.rb files in a specified directory.  Or, 
perhaps, something with bash, or an alias would be better?

I've seen the javascript plugin, that looks interesting, but is there an 
analogue for ruby? Looking at:  www.nanojs.org/plugins
