Hex editor

Hi,

- For HTML and PHP, is there a way to automatically replace accented chars
by their entities:
for instance:
when I enter 'é', I get 'é'

- Is it possible to add a hex editor to scite?

Thanks,
Fabio Chelly.

Re: Hex editor

1) It would be easy to do that using a command in the tools menu. Two
alternative ways to do it involve one or the other of
"command.replace.selection" or "command.is.filter".

2) Although this feature doesn't exist in SciTE, I wouldn't mind seeing that
either. However, I have found this one pretty good: (freeware, but closed
source)

You could add a hex editing aplication to the Tools menu. I think
including a hex editor in SciTE dilutes the focus of the application.
