Problem with pdftexify

Hello,
After a computer crash, PDFtexify isn't working any more. Its just compiling once (just as plain old pdflatex), leaving out bibtex, toc, etc.
Anyone has a clue?  Thanks in advance.

I'm using WinEdt 5.5 (Build: 20071003).

Assuming that you have MiKTeX this is not a WinEdt issue but
rather a MiKTeX one. Try the command:

texify.exe --pdf yourdoc.tex

directly from the command prompt and see what it does...

Best regards,

alex

ps. texify.exe was never perfect and it may not detect that
your bibliography has changed and that the sequence has to be
repeated. Try to delete working files (from WinEdt) and then
make a new compilation to see if it will properly rebuild the
document. I not, it is possible that some error in your LaTeX
code is preventing it from running the whole things. Check the
log file carefully...

Re: Problem with pdftexify

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. However, I'm using TeXLive. (I use your texify macros...)

Something has changed during your computer crash. The same
advice applies: check the log file after your compilation. And
if this reveals nothing check the PDFTeXify macro and insert a
few Prompts to see where and why it does not run the whole
sequence. You are the only one in position to do some
investigating...

Everything is fine and well with TeX Live configuration (and
custom [PDF]TeXify) on my machine:-)

Best regards,

alex

Re: Generating a nomenclature

What kind of nomenclature? If you're using LaTeX, try using counters.
Take a look at these pages:

AW: Generating a nomenclature

If you use the package "nomencl" in LaTeX the WinEdt macro MakeNomencl from
http://www.winedt.org/Macros/LaTeX/MakeNomencl.php could help you.

Cheers,

Joachim.
