Attention:  All ls.suny.edu listserv list subscribers  

This email is going out to all ls.suny.edu listserv subscribers to announce
an eminent upgrade to the Lyris ListManager listserv (going from 7.0d to
8.95).

We will also be sending out test emails to a number of the lists later
today.  This is to test the new Oracle backend which is replacing the
PostGres database in the current production server.  The subject headings
will state "Please ignore".

The changeover is scheduled to happen this weekend or later the next week.
In preparation for that we advise you from Friday on 
1.	to make sure you cc yourself on all  messages you send to your
subscribed lists.  
2.	Keep a list of all list members by sending this command to
lyris <at> ls.suny.edu:  review [listnames]   ( i.e., review coa-l)
3.	If you find you have a problem, contact your list admin.  If you do
not know your list admin 
and you have questions, please email scacad <at> itec.suny.edu and we will gladly
help you.
