Ross Singer came up with the names "COELACANTH" and "COinS".  "COinS"  
seemed snappier. :)

This link also helped me do what I want to do:

Now I can just include the span tags generated by Zotero on my web
page! (I imagine this is what the wordpress plugin does for you) but I
have not tried it yet.

Tim,
If you have a wordpress blog don't forget to use COinS also for your blogpost. Thats help zotero to get metatdata for a blogpost automaticaly. Read more at:
