No its not 15 - 18 lakhs (thats what it usually amounts to though). Putting it that way would be misleading. Alfia, this is the way it is
 
You will have to show funds in the bankstatement worth your Masters program. A little bit more would be prudent. So, if your masters costs 36000 for the equivalent number of units to complete the program, then show that in the bank statement plus some. Unless the university specifies, it wont be needed to do the second year.
 
The story is different for the visa.
