The AV Librarian wants the "classics" classed in LC, e.g. the Greek film Antigone, starring- Irene Pappas, was just added to the collection last month. She sent it back for a call number change to PA. That's true of Shakespeare inspired movies, and we collect a lot of Spanish films based on literary adaptations (Lazarillo de Tormes, etc.) and those get classed along with the original work. I neglected to mention that earlier. bob mead-donaldson florida international university Jack Hall wrote: > I wonder about that (not that I doubt your public service people's > veracity!!).
