auctex 11.84 submitted in the CVS tree, *no* branch needed

Hello

It is true (finally), the problem of the generation of the correct
auto-autoloads files is solved, even without applying a patch to
XEmacs.rules; a thousand thanks to Mats for his help.

I committed the new version right now into CVS.

Norbert please move the latest auctex version in pre-test to the
official dir.

The version just submitted should stay for say 2 weeks in pretest, not
much longer, since I have tested it myself for almost 3 month, without
problems.

Norbert in case you encounter problems in generating the pkg, please let
me know.

It looks like you have succeeded in breaking the package smoketest. Could
you please have a look at this?

Thanks, best regards,

Is there a reason you didn't use 11.85? 11.84 is already over one and a
half years old. And especially with respect to XEmacs, font locking has
improved significantly in 11.85.
