Comment # 1 from Found a real issue... (make-audio-device 'alsa) will work, and you can play audio through it, however... (make-audio-device 'alsa :device "plughw:0,0") won't give an error, but you won't hear any audio either. Same for "hw:0,0"

Same for "hw:0,0" Might be my fault, as in poorly configure alsa here on bastard. Can somebody please test this and let me know if it is working for you or not.
