Checking again on the group (anyone out there?)

I notice that we have reached Michael Speer's deadline for comments on the
architecture draft without any reactions from the working group. I suspect
this means that we do not have a critical mass of people working on these
problems any more.

That would not come as a complete surprise given the changes in the
industry.

If you have comments about the new draft (sent out 1/13/2003), please send
them to the list.

If you have opinions about how or whether we should proceed as a working
group, you can send them to me privately or to the list. I would guess that
unless I have some fairly enthusiastic responses, the ADs will recommend
closing the group.

Thanks in advance,

All,

My deadline has come and gone. I will complete the integration of
the other drafts into the architecture document in two weeks and
post a new draft.
