Question to GSMP-MIB (RFC3295)

Hello All,

hope, somebody can answer the following question:

The object gsmpTcpIpEncapAddress in the gsmpTcpIpEncapTable is descriped in the MIB as following: "The
IPv4 or IPv6 address used for the GSMP session peer."

Chapter 3.4.3 states:
"If TCP/IP is used, the IP address and the port number are specified."

I'm not sure, which IP address is meant here from an switch entity point of view (not the controller entity).
Is it the IP address from the switch enitity itself or from the entity, which controls the switch?
Thanks in advance for the support.

Regards
