Friends of IMAP dinner at Prague

Hi,

When? Alexey suggested doing it Monday night and I like that, too.

Where? I'd like to go to a Czech place, eat knedliki and so on at least
once while I'm in Prague. I know a decent place where the air isn't
entirely poisonous (I'm a member of the "smokers must die"
association), although I can't remember its name right now.

Who? Send me mail and I'll keep a rough count and reserve a table for a
few more.

Monday kinda stinks for me (and likely Randy and Ted), as we're
having a QUALCOMM get-together that eve. Is Wednesday after the
plenary possible for folks? Otherwise, you can be friendly without
us. :-)

Is there anyone who cannot come on Wednesday?

(Personally I like Wednesday better now that the Lemonade meeting was
shifted to the last session on Monday. Don't want to go directly from
Lemonade meeting to FoIMAP dinner.)

Wednesday sounds like a fine day. We'll all be refreshed after a nice
afternoon snooze, too.

Indeed - double Lemonade and then kept back after school. :-)

I'll have to bow out; I have another dinner I had already agreed to on
Wednesday night. Have fun!

Czechs say that "kendlik is the best food on Earth". I have heard many
jokes from tourists on this.
You know, "knedlik" is kind of like English "black pudding" or Scottish
"haggis".

Are these stories from tourists who would go to Italy and not eat gnocchi?

Not quite ;-).
I like haggis and gnocchi and I don't mind black pudding. However I was
not impressed with any variety of knedlik I've tried before.
