Brightness feedback for ThinkPad x31

Hi all,

as per your request, I am glad to report that this model works fine.
If you need any more information, just let me know.

As an aside, if someone knows how to update the firmware from within
Linux, please let me know ;)

Richard

Thanks for the report!

Does it just report the proper brightness, or does it also let you set the
brightness without problems (please verify that you have all 7 brightness
steps working properly) ?

I have set my brightness without issues for years. I will need to
count the steps once I am back with the machine. It's not used
regularly any more for obvious reasons.
