no access to mounted fat32 partitions for user arklinux but root

Hi Eversbody,

first of all i´m totally new to linux, and really glad that i´ve found such
a nice distro :)

I´m running a dual system win xp/arklinux.

What  i need to do is to mount my windows fat32 partitions C and D.

as i can see in the partitioning tool of ark linux C and D are recognized as
hda1 and hda5.

To mount this partitions i did as discribed by Gary Greene in ticket 822.

i made a mount directory (data) by using the command 'mkdir /mnt/data'

that was fine.

Since i could not edit the fstab in the preconfigured system as arklinux
with root permissions, i disabled autologin, and added root as login option (i
configured a password for root, and kept the user arklinux login without
password.

Then i could simply edit the fstab with an editor by logging in as root.

Now my fstab shows the following mount entrys for my fat32 partitions:

/dev/hda1    /mnt/data     vfat    rw,umask=0,utf8,shortname=winnt   0 0
/dev/hda5    /mnt/data     vfat    rw,umask=0,utf8,shortname=winnt   0 0
