pure:dyne is an essential tool created to provide a  complete,
Free/Libre/open source (FLOSS) custom and ready-made GNU/Linux computer
environment for media artists. The pure:dyne CD can be inserted and run
on a computer without the need to install anything, with an aim to make
it simple to use on many types of hardware. It contains FLOSS programs
for recording and manipulating sound, making live visuals and creating
interactive media in installation, and more. Powered by the Debian-Live
project.

This event is part of the pure:dyne for everyone project, a national
series designed to make pure:dyne more accessible through special events
with partnering media arts centres across the country.

Opa, a contribuição não é só minha não, o artigo foi feito em conjunto com o glerm, a drica e o flavio, mas não entendi porque eles não foram mencionados na página, espero que o mesmo não tenha acontecido com o livro.

Este artigo a gente já tentou enviar pra váaarios lugares para ser publicado, cheguei ateh a pagar uma tradução em regime de urgência pra Tori pra enviar por conta de uma deadline apertada da segunda edição do Surface Tension, mas o Brandon acabou sem verba pra publicar o livro. Aí como já estava traduzido, quando surgiu a chamada do FLOSS+Art peguei e enviei sem pestanejar e bingo, finalmente deu certo, eh noix no mundo traveiz! :)

Sobre baixar os artigos, posso falar apenas do nosso,
cujo original está em nosso site:
http://estudiolivre.org/paperEL

Os outros creio que estarão disponíveis em breve,
pois a licença sugerida por eles era tripla:
GPL, GFDL e Free Art License.

Em todo caso, vou escrever pra eles pra tentar
esclarecer melhor todas estas questões.
