Bug#507074: nautilus: No desktop for new or existing users

Nautilus is supposed to be launched automatically by gnome. If it is
segfaulting, then it isn't going to run. The --no-desktop flag was for
testing, so as not to clutter the issue with irrelevancies.

You get the exact same result if you *don't* pass the flag:

    $ nautilus
    Initializing gnome-mount extension
    Initializing nautilus-open-terminal extension
    seahorse nautilus module initialized
    Segmentation fault

so under no circumstances can SIGSEV be considered "expected behavior."
For testing, though, you need to launch nautilus manually, because AFAIK
there is no way to attach to the process when it is being launched by
the gnome session manager.

You opened two bugs. One for "not showing the desktop" (this one), and
one for the segfault.

Only the segfault is a real bug, and I have already reassigned it.

Cheers,
