Bug#684627: libgtk2.0-0: xfce menus and mate menus fail to display correctly with kwin

Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.24.10-1
Severity: normal

Hello. Sorry if this bug has not been reported by me accuratly; it is my first bug report.
In an Xfce4 or Mate session, if the command kwin --replace is invoked, the xfce or mate menus do not display
correctly.
It could be described as, 'chunks are missing'.
This could be a kwin bug, but since it only occurs in xfce4 and mate, i have filed it under gtk2.
If a kde session is active with kwin, and the xfce4-panel or mate-panel are started in that, the menus seem to
be fine.

Thankyou for your time.
