Package: konqueror Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-5 Severity: wishlist Hello, i can see that konqueror has a very old rendering engine that does not confront to today's browsing needs. frequent users of konqueror may see the browser's incompatibility with pages like google maps, gmail, or even slashdot. anyway, what i suggest is that konqueror 3.x series is recompiled(if possible) to use the khtml engine that konqueror 4.x series use, that is much more compatible, or even the webkit engine, which is open-sourced and derived as you all know from khtml.
