kate - request an update/patch in debian

Hi,

The version of kate in debian experimental is susceptible to this bug: 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162546
This is quite severe since it causes fairly frequent crashes (at least for 
me). Could the patch given please be applied to debian's package, or the 
package updated?
