用dict 命令查字典，是带音标的：

这个怎么是音标呀？比如您所举例的 "dictionary", 音标应该是 ['dikʃənəri],
而不是 [Dic"tion*a*ry]. 其中的原因可能在于那些词典历史有点久远了，那时的
Unix 系统只能使用 ASCII 字符集，顶多扩展到 Latin-1. 而如今 UTF-8 已经是
标准，完全可以显示正确的音标字符了。

这种注音方式很常见的啊，只是在中学时代，国际音标是唯一接触的注音方式，不
习惯而已。
稍微用几分钟习惯下就好了啊。。。
