freezing with kernel 2.6.26

Hello all,

i have big problems with the orinoco usb-card on 2.6.26-Kernels. The system freeze, so that you have
to use the reset-button, or in some less times it continues with segmentation faults.

I can't produce the error. It just happen after some seconds or minutes after the orinoco card is
switched on. During the installation with just a minimal system without X the card runs for hours
without problems (during the installation of the rest of the system), so it seems to have to do with
a conflicts to some oter stuff.

I used the rev. 1300 of orinoco_usb

I use the orinoco card some times with another computer (eeepc) on wich also runs the 2.6.26-Kernel,
but there are no problems at all.

I went now back to the old-stable kernel 2.6.18 and the rev. 1273 to avoid the problems, but I want
to report the problem here.

Regards.

Here is what said dmesg, when the error happend without freezing the whole computer:

Re: freezing with kernel 2.6.26 / conky

Hello,

the problem has to do with the use of the system monitor conky... when i avoid using conky with the
orinoco usb card everything works fine!

Regards.
