wbsd Oopses on x86_64

wbsd module oopses on insertion (see kernel log in the attachment)
my system is 2.6.17.13, x86_64, gcc 4.1.2 20060928 (prerelease)
(Ubuntu 4.1.1-13ubuntu5)
I found a bug report similar to this at

solution?
