Google-Chrome: Missing libgconf-2.so.4

The SlackBuilds page for Google-Chrome says that I need to install
seamonkey-libs from the Slackware-13.1 distribution in order to run
google-chrome.

I installed seamonkey-solibs-2.0.4-i486-1, but there's no libgconf in
/usr/lib/seamonkey/ there. In /opt/google/chrome/, libgconf-2.so.4 is a
broken softlink to /usr/lib/seamonkey/libgconf-2.so.4.

Checkmate? Did I miss a step somewhere?

Thanks,

Rich

Willy,

I cannot find it in either extra or the regular package list. I'm looking
on slackware.osuosl.org/slackware-13.1.

How strange! It's not in the library directory at slackware.osuosl.org,
but a Google search found it at
<http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-13.1/libraries/gconf/2.28.1/>.

Anyone know why at slacky.eu but not down the road from me at OSU?

Re: Google-Chrome: Missing libgconf-2.so.4

wowza. everything seems to need full qualification :D

google-chrome.SlackBuild was added to extra/ in the 13.37 release. In
that folder you'll find the dependencies needed for it to work on a
13.37 install.

Take care,

In other words I cannot run it on my -13.1 host. I can live with that. And
this explains why I cannot find a -13.1 package containing libpam.so.0.
