Feature request: safe sleep

Hi!

I have been using the tuxonice patches for a while and I miss a feature: the "safe sleep".
The safe sleep is the combination of the suspent-to-ram and the suspend-to-disk. It saves the contents of the RAM to the disk (like the simple hibernation), but instead of powering off, it switches the computer to sleep mode.

It would be cool if the TuxOnIce can support this feature.

Cheers,
Thomas Demeter

Re: Feature request: safe sleep

It's already done, if you set powerdown_method=3, then Tuxonice will
place your computer in S3 mode upon finishing hibernation, which is
usually called suspend-to-ram mode.
Details are available in the man pages: man hibernate.conf.
