NVidia driver 177.82 is out, but ToI still won't work with it

For what it's worth, I've had great results with Nvidia's 177.70
driver (and a few earlier ones), on kernel 2.6.23, ToI 3.0-rc7 ... not
a single failed suspend or resume so far.

This is on a desktop system, though, with integrated Geforce 7050PV
video (built into the MB's 630a northbridge/southbridge).  There's
probably a lot of variation from one chipset to another, and perhaps
BIOS dependencies as well.  An older AGP box (Geforce 6200) gave me a
lot of headaches.

Yeah, but drivers < 177.80 have issues related to TwinView that make it
unusable for me. If I use the nvidia-settings to remove my external monitor
(say, before I leave the house) compiz hangs on certain operations.
