Hi, on one of our computers running Mac 10.7.3 PWGL does not start properly (see image below). PWGL is starting in safe mode though, but without sound. It seems to be related to the sound/midi output because I am not able to open the PWGL -> Audio/Midi Setup Menu. Many thanks for any help. Achim
Hi, The error seems to be triggered by opening Midi output in the synth, but the error is from the main PWGL component since it is in Lisp. Sometimes we have had problems with the device names the synth reports back to PWGL. Since it complains about strings, this may be similar. Is the audio/midi device configuration on this Mac different from the others? Actually this is the only Workstation where Pro Tools HD is installed. Since PT is known for being a capricious software I wouldn't be surprised if this causes the problem. Achim, You could try trashing the file /PWGL-User/preferences/pwgl-audio-midi-setup and see if it helps.
