debian package for sid wants unavailable package

I tried to update dbmail from http://debian.nfgd.net/ using the sid
branch, but it requires libgmime 2.0.2 which is no longer in sid - the
current version is 2.6.

I tried downloading the source, but that seems to require libgmime 2.4
when I run configure, so again no luck.

Any chance of getting the package on the site rebuilt against the
current sid?

I _assume_ you are referring to dbmail-2.2

It's brief source availability on debian.nfgd.net yesterday was by
accident.

DBMail-3.0.2 *is* available on debian.nfgd.net and will build just fine
on debian/sid

DBMail-2 is no longer actively supported. New 2.2 versions are not
planned or expected. If you need debian packages for 2.2, you will
somehow have to build your own, probably against debian/stable (squeeze).

Sorry, should have been more precise about verisons.

The debian package that I tried was 2.2.18, I could not a deb for
version 3.

The source version I downloaded was 3.0.2, which was the latest version
of the source that the download page offered me.

One more thing.

dbmail-3.0.2 still requires gmime-2.4

version 3.0.3 will support gmime-2.6
