I ended doing exactly that, and after trying a few things to clear up the store db, Oracle/Sun directed me to
simply move aside the old db files, and start up stored then run a reconstruct -m to resync all the indexes. I
was hoping to avoid that only because it meant that some of the message flags would be reset, and that always
causes complaints from my users, but oh well. Better to have read messages go unread, than to not have
messages at all.

The storeutil_getpathinfo error is from an msprobe bug due to it being a 32 bit app, and not being able to scan
the whole drive space because its too large. There is a patch available, but I'll probably just upgrade the
whole server to 7 rather than waste more time keeping this old version going.
