With Emacs 24.1 + Gnus 5.13 + MH-E 8.3.1 I get this behavior:

After showing a multi-part email w/HTML, subsequent messages have the first line in the MH-Show buffer
indented increasingly more.

I have attached a message that triggers the problem for me.  Viewing messages after showing this message
have indenting first lines.

This happens with emacs -q.
