Re: MH(-E) on Microsoft ?

I use MH-E with emacs running on cygwin and X-Windows.

However, you should be able to use MH-E with the native nt-emacs

I can not run though from the native nt-emacs.
I believe the problem I have has to do with my ~/.emacs file settings and file pathname differences. In my
.emacs file I test for which emacs is running, either the cygwin x-window version or the nt_emacs version.
But, as I havent gotten to the nt_emac
s version my .emacs file is not up to date on it. I have beem meaning to do it, but havent gotten to it.

However, you still need the MH programs themselves or enough of them to use MH-E.
I use Gnu Mailutils MH programs. But, I compile them using gnu tools which come with cygwin. You might be able
to built them as native windows programs, with the appropriate gcc compiler flag.

Since I use gnu mailutils I am not familiar with the more mature nmh programs and their ability to run
natively on ms windows.
