Remember settings checkbox not working?

Hi,

I've been using nocc for quite some time now, and today decided to
upgrade. Works great - but today I noticed some slightly quirky
behaviour which I also managed to find in previous versions.

My question: What exactly is the "Remember settings" checkbox on the
login page good for? I'd have said it's for remembering the Language /
Theme settings for the next login, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
If you log out from a session, or even if you just do an empty submit
(giving an error) and return to the login page, it's back to defaults. I
see no difference in the behaviour with or without using the checkbox...

What am I missing here? Is it a bug? I think it used to behave
differently years ago, but that could well be my memory.

I'm using Firefox 10.0 on Linux, in case that's of any importance.

To be true, I don't use the feature before. It was already in NOCC
before I came to the project.
I just tested it, and it keep you logged in, if you close the browser
without logout.

So I think, we should better use "Remember me" or something else for
the option.

Greetings,
Tim
