Strange error after dist-upgrade

A colleague recently did a dist-upgrade on one of our MX servers. Since
this upgrade we have been getting the following error:

Remote_host_said:_451_qmail-spp_failure:_/var/qm
ail/control/plugins/badmailfrom:_can't_execute_(#4.3.0)

has anyone seen anything like this before?

Rebuild your qmail-related binaries - most likely there's an ABI version 
upgrade on one of the libraries they're dependent on.  When in doubt, always 
do an ldd on all your scratch-compiled stuff after doing a dist-upgrade, just 
to be sure...
