[SPAM] Quarantine Spam Mails and notification to User

Hi,

I'm using qmailtoaster and simscan from last 2 yrs and really happy with the performance. Recently I got a requirement where user want to quarantine spam mails in a separate directory and receiver should get a email notification regarding the spam mail. And if he thinks the mail is genuine he can retrieve the same from quarantine folder.
I was searching over internet on how to do the same and come across with same feature in MailScanner which is basically developed for postfix. Also while reading more about simscan I come to know quarantine facility is their in simscan.

Can anyone let me know on how to fulfill this requirement using simscan?

  Simscan will only mark the message or reject it by design. What you need is a software capable of taking decisions based on the message status (mostly header data) while it's been delivered, like maildrop. You may write a filter for achieve that easily, without changing simscan behaviour. I use it and it works perfectly. Check it out: http://www.courier-mta.org/maildrop/
