Squirrel deutsch

Hallo, everybody, I'm new here. Ich verfasse meine Anfrage gleich so, wie
meine Squirrelinstallation funktioniert: teils deutsch teils englisch. Die
Konfiguration ist meines Wissens so, dass das Squirrel deutsch sprechen
müsste, tuts aber nur teilweise. Das change_passwd Plugin z.B spricht nur
englisch.
Nach unzähligen Recherchen und urlangem Googlen habe ich nicht
herausgefunden, wie ich den gesamten Squirrel auf deutsch umstellen kann.
Vielleicht gibt es hier den passenden Tipp für meine Version 1.4.21.

Manche plugins sind schlichtweg nicht übersetzt.
Some plugins simply have no translation.

I found this that was sent directly to me in the past.  It seems good
(I would want Ralf's permission to add it) except it's in the wrong
character set.... which reminds me it'd be nice to change German to
UTF-8....

But when i replace ori_change_passwd.po by paul_change_passwd.po there's
no difference in Squirrelmail ...

Why did you put it in sv_SE?

Also, you should ask me offlist for an updated version of the plugin,
after which you can put it under squirrelmail/locale

You should take time out to learn about language codes please.

Was Paul Dir mitzuteilen versuchte, war:

Paul bittet Dich, dass Du Dir vorab die Grundlagen der
Sprachanpassung von Software aneignest. Dazu gehören die
Sprachcodes.

"sv_SE" ist ein solcher Sprachcode. Er bezeichnet eine Sprache
und eine Region, und zwar "Schwedisch – Schweden". Ein
Verzeichnis mit diesem Namen ist also mit ziemlicher Sicherheit
kein geeigneter Ablageort für deutsche Übersetzungsdatei.
