cpanel password change plugin

Having recently moved to a hosted server in an effort to keep our users from
having to log in through cpanel we have opted to do a custom install of
Squirrelmail. Some of the plugins we are using (imap quota and vlogin)
require the compatibility plugin. It would be very useful if our users
could change passwords without using cpanel. If an effort to do so we have
installed the cpanel password change plugin. However, when trying to change
passwords we get this error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function
sqgetglobalvar() includes/1.5.2/global.php on line 999". It would appear
that the plugin is aged, not compatible with the newer compatibility plugin
which are needed for our custom install. Are there any plans to update the
cpanel password change plugin?

Thanks for the Great Work!

You're right, it's probably not up to date. I'm not sure the original
author is around any more, but I could probably try to work with you
to update the plugin. You'll have to be patient, as my time is very
limited, but I'll try to take a look soon and get back to you. I
don't have access to any cpanel systems, so your testing help would be
most appreciated.
