June and July gigs with the U-Liners and Cravin' Dogs

Hi friends!

I don't know about you, but I count the first day of summer as June 17.
That's the first day of summer vacation for Montgomery County school children,
meaning I don't have to wake up at 6am. That almost beats a week at the beach
in my book. :)

There are a bunch of gigs coming up in the next several weeks that you should
get on your calendar.

This Saturday, June 4, the U-Liners will be playing a set at the Glen Echo
folk fest. We're on at 5pm, and it's free! We've played here before and it's
a wonderful place to see some music.

On Sunday, June 12, the U-Liners will be performing with the esteemed John
Kadlecik of Dark Star Orchestra and Further fame, at the Takoma Park Civic
Auditorium. This is a special concert celebrating Art and Activism, and the
$10 cover charge benefits Voices for a Sustainable Future. John will be
joining us on stage, and will also be performing a few solo tunes. The music
starts at 7:00pm.

Thursday evening, June 16, the Cravin' Dogs will be in Herndon, VA, playing a
free one hour concert at Frying Pan Park, from 7:30-8:30. I'd expect to hear
a lot of songs from the new Cravin' Dogs rekkid, Sounds Like A Wiener!
