Re: Re: Can Yamaha EZs be adapted as a clean, accurate Midi controller?

Hi All,
Yeah, nothing fancy like aftertouch on the EZa, so if you want more control over the output velocity, you
will want a midi pedal or one of those Midi Solutions boxes.

The Transpose Buttons Up and Down an Octave and the Alternative Tuning built it make than EZ a great teaching
aid and live performace controller. Much of todays Top 40 music does not really have any volume changes,
the whole song is loud or soft all the way through.

My wooden body EZ came with a Yamaha USB Midi Tnterface. I believe that was or is standard with it, if you buy a
new one online. I only pid 100 bucks for te used Wooden Body EZ, a gig bag, and the AC Adapter and the USB midi
interface. You download the USB Driver from Yamahas web site, if you need a newer version, like I did to use
the USB Midi Interface with Vista.

The EZ is a great guitar to take to any kind of party or school. Everyone wants to play it. And then wants to buy
it.

Happy EZs
